Chart of Accounts

Accounting platforms use the concept of a chart of accounts, which is a collection of accounts to help categorize the items of an invoice for reporting purposes. It is important that invoices created in hipages tradiecore categorise elements on invoices based on this chart of accounts. This is done under the Revenue Accounts section of the accounting software that you are integrating with.

hipages tradiecore has its own chart of accounts with the following three accounts:

  • General Sales

  • Materials

  • Labour

Having more than one chart of accounts will enhance reporting and help you categorise line items and assign the right account when creating invoices.
